Charlotte Ellen Jones
Charlotte Ellen Jones, 77, died June 17, 2009.
She was born Sept. 29, 1930 in Denver, Colo. to Herman and Vianna Gibboney. She moved from Denver to Molalla as a child and attended school at Elk Prairie.
In 1946, she married Harry Stafford, but the couple later divorced. She married Tony Jones in 1981 at Camp Adams.
She worked as a cook at Camp Adams and managed apartments in Portland. She was a member of St. James Parish in Molalla. For the past five years, she lived in Colton next to her daughter, Mary.
Jones is survived by her sisters Lucille Stafford and Annita Miller, her brother Harold Gibboney, her daughters Kathern Greer, Marian Baurer and Shirley Boyer, her 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Molalla Funeral Home is in charge of her funeral arrangements. Her service will take place at St. James Church in Molalla on June 26 at 11 a.m. Father Ed Coleman will officiate.
Jacquelyn Diane Price
Jacquelyn Diane Price, 25, of Beavercreek died June 11, 2009.
She was born Dec. 7, 1983 in Salt Lake City to William and Katheran Price. She worked as a personal assistant to Patricia Ullrich.
Survivors include her parents; sisters, Gina Rhoades and Kathe Price; brothers, Andrew Price and Mike Chastain; son, Sean Pettitt; companion, Brandon Bany; two nieces and one nephew.
A memorial service was held June 20 at Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud in Oregon City.
Rose Mary McKnight
Rose Mary McKnight, 82, of Canby, died May 21, 2009, at Gladstone Care Center.
She was born Jan. 27, 1927, in Alameda, Calif., to William Henry and Mary Cawley Geraghty.
On Dec. 30, 1945, she married Cecil W. “Tex” McKnight in Alameda. He died in 1998.
She moved to Texas in the 1970s and to Oregon in 1982. She lived in Woodburn from 1983 to 1998, when she moved to Canby. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy Reinolds of Molalla and Rose Ann Roy of California; a son, Lawrence of Tumwater, Wash.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
No services will be held.
