Molalla Girl Scouts Emilee Wells, Savannah Cruthers and Jackie Coffman wait for another box to come down the assembly line so they can add candy, socks and scarves. The girls were among the volunteers at the Moose Lodge last Saturday who helped package gifts for U.S. troops for Molalla's Patriotic Christmas project. Click on the photo to view a slide show.
Forty-six boxes jam-packed with beef jerky, candy, socks, cookies and other gifts are now on their way from Molalla to Afghanistan to give three units in the U.
