Outbound Molalla exchange student Amanda Clarke, who is headed to Germany for a year, opens a German dictionary, while returning exchange student Kayla Newland reads a welcome home card after arriving back from a year-long stay in Ecuador. The Rotary Club of Molalla sponsored both girls.
After spending a year in Ecuador, Molalla High School student Kayla Newland came home last month with friendships spread around the globe and a new appreciation for home.
