Tommi Tolstead, owner of Tommi’s Country Boutique, stands with a large framed photograph of what is now North Molalla Avenue. The building on the far right, which Tolstead owns, is one of the oldest wood-frame structures in the city. Tolstead acquired the photo, which had been hanging in Harvest Market, after the Robbins Street grocery store went out of business last month.
The structure is older than the city itself, once the site of an undertaking business, later the presumed location of a Prohibition-era bootlegger.
