Tyler Kelleher, the new Molalla boys basketball coach, ran the program at Lakeview High School last season and led the Honkers to a 16-8 overall record. Kelleher, 26, was an all-league point guard at West Linn and later spent two years at his alma mater as an assistant coach.
It was June 21 in the late afternoon, and Tyler Kelleher was expecting to coach the Molalla boys basketball team against Yamhill-Carlton in a summer exhibition game.
