State to review Molalla's use of Native American mascot

Debate flares over 'Indians' name ahead of education department meetings

Molalla High School is the home of the Indians — at least for now.Its use of a Native American mascot will be examined again this week by the state Board of Education, which could eventually rule to eliminate the controversial team names and logos at Molalla and 15 other schools in Oregon.
