WeatherIt seems that weather is always a safe topic because it is always there. Although February was the shortest month of the year, there seemed to be more than enough long winter nights to complain about.Everyone agrees that the prospect for March is hopeful. If we can just get up out of those 30-degree temperatures, then maybe we can believe that spring is coming.

Staying safeColton High School student Allison Thomas chose a senior project that would help young women feel safer.“I’m one of those girls who is jumpy when I am out driving by myself and I worry about my friends when they are out alone, so putting together a self-defense class for girls seemed like a perfect solution to both ‘What will my senior project be?’ and ‘How can I make it something that will help my friends?’” Thomas said.
